“80后”的杨卫磊2005年毕业于北京师范大学美术与书法系，2006年前往韩国成均馆大学学习，2009年进入韩国首尔大学哲学系攻读博士学位。在韩国生活了近五年的他已经是个“韩国通”了。

在杨卫磊的组织下，由在韩中国留学生组成的“我们在韩国”青年志愿者团队已经有了比较齐全的架构和固定的活动时间。2010年11月，该志愿者团队在韩国首尔市“常绿”孤儿院举办了汉语教学、书法教学、武术表演等活动；同年12月，举办了“暖冬·暖心”志愿服务活动，并和全韩国孤儿院总会商定了长期提供志愿服务的计划和具体措施。

“我在韩国时就认识了杨大哥，当时他经常带领着由中国留学生组成的青年志愿者团队去幼儿园、敬老院献爱心。”27岁的金元奎现就读于北京语言大学，他也参加了4月9日的千禾敬老院献爱心活动。

金元奎眼中的中国留学生志愿者团队是一支团结、善良、真诚的团队，“有时候在学校里看到他们为幼儿园的孩子举办募捐活动，觉得这是很有意义的事儿。所以当我来到中国后，也非常渴望有献爱心送温暖的机会。”

“如果要问我为什么如此积极热心地组织这些公益活动，我觉得最重要的原因是想促进两国留学生的交流。”杨卫磊说，“在我没有去韩国留学之前，我对于韩国的认知很局限。到韩国后，发现韩国和我想象中的很不一样。现在大约有8万多中国留学生在韩国，组织他们参与社会公益活动可以促进他们和韩国人的交流、帮助他们更快地适应新生活。”
